Raggedstar - PACKAGE FROM POSSKY!!!

Aka I Need A Working Tripod (srsly)

I sent Possk Jak and Daxter and Jak 2 last year, and she sent me a package with some random stuff since my birthday is in about 2 weeks. I...have nothing else to say except how she's currently getting her ass kicked in Jak 2 and she hasn't even started looking for seal pieces yet lol :3. Pray for her.

Raggedstar - My Collections [7] [Finishing Up]

Just finishing up the other video and added a few more things (mostly things I forgot). When I'm not at school I'm usually at work, so other than my pre-order of Skyward Sword, I won't be getting anything else interesting.

Raggedstar - My Collections [6] [I'M BORED, OK?]

There isn't really much focus in this video. This and the next one is mostly wrapping up some new stuff and some stuff I forgot to show throughout the videos. Oh, and stuff on my walls. STUFF EVERYWHERE!

Raggedstar - POSSK VS RAGGEDSTAR: THE ULTIMATE CLASH! [Pokemon WiFi Battle]

There was a dispute between AMV makers Raggedstar and xPosskx over superiority. Raggedstar thought Possk was superior and vise-versa (oh don't worry, Shado will get her video eventually). And so, Raggedstar made a dick move of a plan she created after wandering the internet. The deal was made and the fight would be at an end...through a battle of POKEMON!. If Raggedstar's "secret weapon" among her team (lovingly named "The Spartans". There is a 300 joke here somewhere but I can't put my finger on it) could be thwarted, then she would be the superior AMV maker. If the "secret weapon" does as it should, then Possk would be superior. This may seem rather confusing but just accept it (wouldn't even come to this if Possk was a good girl and claimed her rightful superiority in the first place). Who would win?

The Greeks invented cruel and unusual punishment. Past, Tantalus is stranded on an island where fruit and water are held slightly away from his reach. Present, er...this lol.

Sorry about the quality. I had to use a camera (my capture card won't work on my DS) and because of the noise I had to do it near the laundry room so people wouldn't complain. It's not too bad at least. Thankfully my DS is black so it blended with the dark room.

Comment of the day goes to TAR:
"1 person got owned by Raggs.
Oh wait..."

(Atropos = Raggedstar by the way)

Raggedstar - Spyro The Dragon (JAPANESE) - FAIL REEL!

IT'S MY 5TH YEAR AMV ANIVERSARY! What better way to celebrate my 5 years of inferiority than a fail reel of a fail game?

No, I'm not taking a shot at Spyro 1 itself (though it is my least favourite of the original trilogy). However, the Japanese version (NTSC-J) is...awful. It's not a simple dub of the text and audio. I outlined a few of them in my blog entry (here). I honestly can't play this version more than 30 minutes or so because it's just so frustrating and nauseating for the camera to get stuck all the time and me having to rotate it. At least the camera in the normal version is functional.

I had this project file sitting on my hard drive since November 2009, so I quickly did some commentary today. I have no more ideas for fail reels, so that's it for now. I was planning a KH Sephiroth fail reel, but it was too depressing and repetitive. FF7 Sephy is too difficult to record since if you die, the game resets and you have to go back to the last save point...which is before a Jenova fight and Bizzaro Sephiroth. You have to beat them before you can fight Safer Sephiroth.

I also disabled annotations because people complained and I can't moderate all the time.

-I started recording at Peacekeepers because I wasn't intending to create a fail reel at all. All you missed was my epic death in the homeworld because the camera wouldn't turn around towards shore.
-Spyro 2's subtitle was named "Tondemo Tours". It suffers from many of the same faults that this game does
-Spyro 3 never went to Japan, yet Enter The Dragonfly did.
-Glitch learned from yearofthe's video outlining how to get that key without chasing the first airplane thief.

Raggedstar - Blog Announcement [The Cache] + SPECIAL BETA!

http://tehcache.blogspot.com/

OMG I HAZ A BLOG!
This blog will be used to discuss a few things. It will include (but not limited to) reviews (games, movies, POSSIBLY AMVS, etc), uncovering some project concepts and updates of future AMVs, rants (of assorted bitchery), a very special article series :3, and of course is the HQ of the Foundation Of Raggedstar Inferiority (FORI). Lots of fun, right?

I'm open to those that want to give some feedback, ideas, help in set up, or collaberate with some articles.

As for TCT, bug Possk. I only have about 10-13 seconds to go on my last part. And to think this was supposed to be uploaded in March by our guesses.

And on a more serious note, WLMM sucks. It just sucks so hard. It's clunky, pain in the ass layout, dumbed down to the point where it hardly functions as an effective (even amateur) video editor, and dropped so many necessary features. Ugh, fuck it. At least WMM could pull off some decent stuff.

Raggedstar - My Collections [5] [MOAR Movies n'stuff]

This video was originally done for my new(ish) movies, but I also put in two other things in. One I got not too long after I did the other video, and the other is a recent development I want to bitch about (and because by tomorrow morning, there is a good chance it'll be gone. You'll see why *facepalm*).

Wow, this is a short description, eh? Don't worry, for there shall be long-winded AMV descriptions in due time.

Raggedstar - Blah, Copyright Issues (among other updates)

For someone that doesn't b/vlog, I seem to do a lot of it x_x.
Back-up Account: xRaggedstarx
AMV.org Account: Raggedstar

This video is going going over some shit that has been happening to me and my friends because of copyright. I talk mostly about GDW and Nihon Ad Systems and that people are getting hit with strikes. Though I also mentioned stuff with Studio Ghibli. So, yanno, be on the look-out. Until they stop getting touchy, there will be no videos here made with footage from NAS and Ghibli and the ones that they didn't remove, I removed myself.

I also talk about other projects (since I'm talking anyways and I usually never talk about future projects). Some are AMVs, though one of them will contain a rant sort of thing with Blackfang, Shado, Dame, Possk, Amz and I talking about AMVs and copyright.

PS: STOP WITH THOSE DAMN UNKNOWN ERRORS WITH MY OKAMI STUFF! NOT COOL WHEN YOU HOLD ME BACK SEVERAL DAYS!

Raggedstar - My Collections [4] [2011 MOAR GAMES]

It's been roughly a year since my last collections series and I have got more stuff (though some of it will just be things I forgot to include before). I'm not a big vlogger, but I wanted to try out my sexy new camera that I got for Christmas. Sound is SO much better, so I didn't bother using my mic (so less work for me!).

The biggest increase is in my games. I'm not a collector, but there are so many games I wanted to play and I had a lot of time to burn (though this being the semester from hell + now having a job, it's getting harder to find time). Here are all of the games I got since the last collections video.

The next video will most likely be movies, then other knick knacks and stuff I forgot from before (I FOUND MY POKEMON CARDS BY THE WAY!).

Raggedstar - The Living Dead AMV Maker [aka Why I Don't Uploaded Often] And Other Projects

People have asked me this since the 6 month long drought between IWA and Soldier Side. Why don't I upload often? This is a video that says why regarding what I'm doing off Youtube and my editing speed when I actually get down to editing. Even though this started from way back, it still happens time and again and I haven't uploaded a full AMV since Madokara Mieru (and the Hobo video was mostly just for lulz anyways, even though it did turn out pretty well).

This is also part of the reason why I don't join a lot of MEPs/collabs, contests, or take requests.

It's also announcing other projects, like countdowns and reviews and stuff like that (just to bring a bit more variety in my channel, even though AMVs are a specialty here). If you want to suggest things or just questions/comments in general, let me know and I'll think about it. I'll also take people that actually want to HELP me with those projects too, including guest commentary if people don't mind coming in on a mic.

It's nothing much. If you're curious and don't mind me talking for 6 minutes, be my guest.

...and I wish I had another strawberry pop tart.

Raggedstar - Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage - FAIL REEL!

I have rediscovered my love of the original Spyro trilogy (Spyro The Dragon, Ripo's Rage, Year Of The Dragon). Yep, Raggedstar is a closet Spyro fan. A few months ago, I started playing them. Since then, I have played each game 3 times (YOTD is at 2) with each at max completion. I can actually complete Ripto's Rage in an afternoon as well as beat all bosses without superflame (except Ripto. EDIT: Nevermind, I've beaten Ripto recently without superflame 3 times). Enough about how I'm supposedly good at the game. This video features some of my...less proud periods of playing. All footage was recorded in May (my 2nd time beating it this year, so I'm a little rusty). Although it may not seem like it, I really didn't die a lot outside of boss battles.

Since I recorded myself playing the first two games (not sure if I'm going to do the 3rd. Some of the challenges in there take me hours to do), I might do a fail reel of the first as well. More importantly, I'll be making a music video (hopefully) to a certain DragonForce song *cough*. Elements seen in DF are really suited to video games it seems.

Some things to note:
-No fails in Idol Springs and what remains of my Robotica Farms stuff. I only got hit by a guy with a hot dog on a stick. That's it.
-Some of my clips were deleted somehow. That includes my first try with Aquaria Towers, Crush, and Robotica Farms.
-Glimmer and Autumn Plains recorded without audio x_x.
-To non-Spyro fans for some reason watching, the dragonfly (Sparx) collects my gems and is my health meter. It goes gold, blue, green, gone, Spyro death.
-Some of my dialogue has been shifted. Forgot to turn the ripple off.
-No Speedway fails shown. Every Speedway I fail at anyways (other than Icy. I can screw up and STILL get a skill point there)
-It took 30 minutes for me to find that damn lizard in Glimmer x_x.
-Despite being blown to kingdom come (repeatedly), I never lost a life in Zephyr. Same goes for Magma Cone.
-About the end, I STILL don't know what happened when I faced Ripto. We were both at near death, but we hit each other. Even though Ripto was hit first, the battle was reset.
-Ice Cavern (Spyro 1) is where I lost my first life in the game...thanks to Shado *glare*.

Raggs and Balco Play Journey CO-OP [5/5] [Return]

This is the last part of Balco and I playing Journey, containing credits. I hope you got some quick laughs, since we had some fun playing. Great game, available now on PSN for $15. You may have seen most of it through these videos, but no way did we do it justice. Journey is a game best left to experience (preferably all in one go and online), so start your quest whenever you can. For sure not a game for everyone, but at least check it out.

Also, Journey's OST was released on Tuesday on iTunes and PSN. You may not have heard it here, but the music in this game is to die for.

(I tried to join Fraser from VGA a few days ago when he was playing Journey, but my hopes were dashed when a red dude found him first)

(no game audio because either PS3 or Dazzle was being stupid. Commentary only, as well as a faint buzzing that came from Balco's mic)

Raggs and Balco Play Journey CO-OP [4/5] [ZOOOOM!]

See, if I could upload more than 15 minutes then I could've finished it EASILY right here. Next part will be credits only and about 7 minutes in length. We essentially beat the game right here.

(no game audio because either PS3 or Dazzle was being stupid. Commentary only, as well as a faint buzzing that came from Balco's mic)

Raggs and Balco Play Journey CO-OP [3/5] [BALCO YOU ASSHOLE!]

You monster :(

(no game audio because either PS3 or Dazzle was being stupid. Commentary only, as well as a faint buzzing that came from Balco's mic)

Raggs and Balco Play Journey CO-OP [2/5] [Run Away!]

Second part of Balco and I playing Journey. Yep.

(no game audio because either PS3 or Dazzle was being stupid. Commentary only, as well as a faint buzzing that came from Balco's mic)

Umm, I think that's it. Did I mention you need to buy this game? Ya, buy this game.

Raggs and Balco Play Journey CO-OP [1/5] [Small Town Girls Living In A Lonely World]

(I swear that's the only Journey joke I make)
(no game audio because either PS3 or Dazzle was being stupid. Commentary only, as well as a faint buzzing that came from Balco's mic)

This was completely on a whim. Balco and I came together and decided to play Journey (PS3) together yesterday, and here we are. This is a playthrough of a two player journey through levels 3-8. We skipped 1 and 2 because Journey's co-op mechanic pairs random people as opposed to a lobby where you can pick your partner. First level is the hub area (where it's always singleplayer) and second level has a long unskippable cutscene. If you want to see the intro and first two levels, I can link them. This is just us screwing around. The anonymous nature of Journey's co-op is unique and enchanting, but we just want to have fun.

For anyone that has a PS3, Journey is a fantastic game. You wander through the barren landscape. No out-right story, no dialogue, only a destination and one hell of a trip ahead. It may be steep at $15 for a 2 hour PSN game, but this is just one damn fine game you can't pass up. We don't do it justice, especially without the amazing soundtrack at our back's.

Our white cloaks were unlocked by finding all the symbols. White cloaks can regenerate their stamina as long as they're on the ground.

There are 5 parts to this video series, most likely the rest will sit unlisted on my account and linked through this video.

TheHande - Donkey Kong Country 3 - part 5 "I Believe I Can Fly"

Despite technical difficulties, we hammer on with DKC3.

Raggedstar - Spyro 3: Year Of The Dragon - FAIL REEL!

The final fail reel to close the last Spyro game made by Insomniac.

For those just joining us, this is a video of me playing Spyro 3, though focusing on the blunders, from being double-killed by a boss, to running off cliffs, and face-planting into the pavement while skateboarding.

As I said at the end of the Spyro 1 fail reel, my recorder decided not to record Sunrise Springs (first homeworld) and all of the levels inside the homeworld. Instead of going back and play it again (for another 2 hours), I decided to start at Buzz's Dungeon (where the cutscene and first fails are). The only Sunrise Spring level I have recorded was Molten Crater (?), since I needed to come back anyways to do Sgt. Byrd's challenge.

Notes:

-Spyro 3 is a crossbreed between games 1-2. The enemies leave gems, gem counts rise through levels, and the music is upbeat like the first game, but there are puzzles, mandatory arena boss battles, skill points, as well as characters, gem uses, and abilities from the 2nd.

-For those that don't know the game very well, something new is that for certain levels/challenges, you play different characters that you free. There is Sheila the kangaroo (ya, the same one that made me get flattened by Buzz x_x), Sgt. Byrd the flying penguin, Bentley the yeti, and Agent 9 the monkey.

-The original cut of the video was over 13 minutes long (not counting the Moneybags roasting session), so I had to cut it dramatically.

-Why is it that it seems so easy to beat Spike when you watch other people do it, but you can't do it yourself? (without dying 5 times that is)

-Can someone PLEASE smack Greta for making me use the cannon? It's hardly fair that I need to be blasted from the cannon and she just has to "fwee her mind" x____x.

-I didn't use to suck that much in first-person shooters, I swear it!

-Agent 9, I love you as much as I can love a gun-weilding psycho-monkey, but why are your puzzles so hard?

-I didn't know my voice could go that high 0-0.

-I frequently lose my controls in this game since I have to use the L-R buttons for some of the levels.

-The more I fight against the Sorceress, the more I appreciate the final battle against Ripto. Best.Boss.EVER!

-The "No sheep harmed" bit is a play on the gag at the end of the Spyro 1 credits, where it says "No sheep were harmed in the making of this game. A few gnorcs, but no sheep" (or something like that).

-I will not do Let's Play videos or tutorials because I have bad habits (duh, that's what these fail reels are about). If you want good LPs, check out people like RedDevilDazzy2007, Spyrojam86, and FourSwordsLord (I'll add more when I remember. Tell me if you find good ones so I can give shameless advertisements).

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [Gulp and Ripto - NO DAMAGE, NO SUPERFLAME]

Ratchet5's skill point guide reminded me that I promised to upload this...back in April or May lol. Whoopsiedoodle.

These are two videos that I recorded last summer (BEFORE the LP, hence the bad quality) that have me beating Gulp and Ripto without superflame. The official skill points don't call for it (they just want it done), but think of it as an unofficial test of your Spyro skills. I did have one for Crush, but since I have an LP piece of me doing it, I just deleted it. Beating Crush is dead easy anyways and the battles don't change in difficulty with or without superflame. Gulp and Ripto on the other hand are MUCH harder. I've defeated them without superflame MANY times (which is the reason you don't get the skill point chime at the end), but it takes a lot of practice.

There is also no commentary, because it would just be me senselessly rambling as post-commentary, and that's not as fun as live.

Gulp: The superflame battle lasts a few seconds, making it the easiest skill point in the game. Without it, it's easy among the hardest. At least Gulp is pretty predictable for most of the match and my most common hit from when I play him is caused by rushing in and getting caught in my own attack (you can see that a few times where I just backed off). Not much to say about "strategy" except I tend to run in circles a lot. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Patience and choosing your time to attack CAREFULLY helps too. There are many where I perhaps should've been hit (especially since I ran out of room frequently), but the game decided to cut me slack.

Ripto: You damn derranged muppet! This guy is a real bitch even with superflame, since you don't get any real advantage except for the first two stages. In the last stage, it's so easy to get hit. Playing defensively I guess is my strategy, but the game seems to have issues with you hitting and running. In the first stage, sometimes the game decides that your stunning attack will miss, and Spyro hops away with a flamed ass. For the last stage, I launch a few seemingly on target fireballs, veer away, and it either doesn't hit or the bird just squacks. It doesn't register a hit unless you're closer to being face-to-face I guess. I'll admit it, this battle has a lot of luck involved. The reason why I won is that Ripto and I got the right power-ups (I got superflame and that acid...stuff, while Ripto only had ONE green power-up in the entire battle. That lazer attack is a bitch and kept killing me in the 40 or so tries I had). My "kill finger" was also really itchy and I tried attacking Gulp WITHOUT a power-up (wasn't paying attention to my orbs) and somehow escaped without a scratch. Phew.

Also, taking a break on Okami for a little to get some editing done by the way.

Raggedstar - Okami Boss Run - Announcement/Input

Woo, crappy commentary and boring white-on-black text.

This is a similar sort of video as I did last year with Spyro 2, except I know that people were already interested in it. Just put in some input for those questions or other areas and we'll be hunky-dory. I'll get started when I:
-Finish Kingdom Hearts (almost done)
-Get good progress on my contest betas
-Get more input on this project

"But Raggedstar, I want you to AMV!"
A frequent question. I said it in the video and I'll say it here. I'm focusing more on AMVs than games. That'll ALWAYS be the case. Gaming videos aren't my element, but people wanted me to do more (blame them). I know I sound really tired here. It's because I am. Why? Because I've been pulling some late nights AMVing (...and getting little progress). See? I'm still editing.

Raggedstar - My Collections [3] [Books and Games]

Wow, this video took nearly 2 hours to process?

Last part, yepyep. Of course the two are highly unrelated, but they fit together best as far as time went.

And sorry, my mic went REALLY bad for the games. The only place that had room involved me using the full length of my wire, so the mic itself was closer to my face.

NOTE: Yes, I use a PS2 and not a PS3, shut it. There are VERY FEW games I'm interested in for the PS3 (mostly the R&CF ones), and that isn't even all the games I indend to get for the PS2. If the PS3 had better/any BC, then logic says that it would be the better buy for me.

Raggedstar - My Collections [2] [Music, Gear, and POKEYMANZ!]

...as well as a fluffy visitor that was scratching at the door, making his public Youtube debut lol.

The second part of the My Collections series. This part covers my unseen DVD (Cowboy Bebop fangirls and boys, forgive me for not showing it last time. The DVD box fell off my bed and it wasn't shown), music CDs, assorted gear (clothing and accessores), and my Pokemon stuff (Pokemon is just that epic. It needs it's own recording). Sorry, but the cat is not a collection thing. He just...showed up lol (glad it wasn't a dog. They would've murdered the camera).

Ya, there WILL be a third part. I have some footage left over that I couldn't fit and I will hopefully get a 3rd (and final) part. It will contain books and games (one GBA and PC, a few DS, and PS1/2. Nothing else notable for GBC and GBA).

Raggedstar - My Collections [1] [Movies and a few Toys]

I frequently get asked many questions regarding where I get my stuff for my videos (namely my DVDs, music, and games). So, I decided to make a short series of videos (most likely 2-3 parts) to give some assistance regarding where to buy and about how much. I strongly support buying stuff to support the franchise, rather than downloading (unless it's necessary), and most convention AMV contests do too. Since the camera is on, I also included some stuff that I haven't used in my videos.

Note:
-To get DVD footage on your computer, look into programs called DVD rippers. I don't think I can explain it well enough, and sometimes programs won't work on certain movie.
-I'm Canadian, so some stores I mention might be Canadian only. Prices will also be only in CND, so they will not match up if you use a different currency.
-I can't be too accurate on prices, especially if you're buying online on places like eBay.
-NTSC and PAL (often labelled by things like Region 1 or 2) are movie and game formats that are region specific. For example, someone in the UK (a PAL region) cannot play movies or games from the USA (an NTSC region). Bootlegs are often region free and are a tell-tale sign.
-I get distracted sometimes, so I'll put in values and other info I missed in annotations.
-I'm not selling anything.

Again, like NCB, this has been audio swapped (they didn't have the option for full-out muting. Erm...ok. I just chose this music because it kind of fit certain parts and it does kind of describe Impmon). Click this link to get to the version with sound.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [53] [A Farewell To Avalar]

...and eventual hello to Nippon.

Yep, this is the last part. I started this in late October, and it's finally finished in early May (though minus the major delays, it should've been completed in March or something). I tried to get this done in one video, but it decided to last for 2 . It would've been boring if I cut out some stuff (namely the fails and my first trip up the tower. Little commentary, just Spyro getting his ass singed and running around a homeworld. Everything in the game is now completed!

Stats
Parts: 53
Deaths: 2 (Skelos Badlands glitch, and Crystal Glacier stupidity)
Lives: 61
Attempts At FH Supercharge Before Going Insane: Due to recording problems, this kind of made me crazy at attempt 1.

Thanks to all the people watching, gaving me tips, and just in general being awesome. I can't name everyone.

I'm an AMV maker of 4 years, so making gaming videos is not my element. I won't do it often, but for people that want some more, here's the best of both worlds. It won't be in as good video quality (trying out stuff to increase quality, but for sure it'll be on a camera), but I'll TRY to do a boss run of Okami (which could take between 15 and 20 videos). Google it, for the game is made of epic.

In this video:
-Skill point (Perfect Ripto) after much fail
-Epilogue
-Final 'byes
-Introduction to Okami boss run

Recorded May 4th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [52] [I.R.SPARTAN!]

Damn straight I am. We Greeks wrote great philosophy and invented battle strategies, cruel and unusual punishment, AND the most delicious sugar cookies I've ever eaten.

Greek pride aside, this should be the second last part of the LP. Dragon Shores is polished up and Gulp's ass has been kicked again. Only thing left is to get the last skill point: fighting Ripto without taking damage.

In this video:
-More bitch stuff
-Finishing off the rollar coaster and getting the last token
-Showing the movie theatre
-Getting permanent superflame (...eventually)
-2 skill points (hitting Ripto, beating Gulp without getting hit)

Recorded April 27, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [51] [It Ain't Over Yet!]

It may seem like it's over after...almost a month of no recording, but it isn't. Please keep in mind that I was finishing final assignments (...last minute), doing lots of tests, and finally doing exams. In between, I've been playing a few games as stress relief, such as Jak and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Kingdom Hearts, and Ratchet: Deadlocked. This is actually my first full week of "summer vacation" (it isn't actually summer yet), so I'll try to finish stuff soon. I promise this time lol (...just like I promised about that Japanese Spyro 1 fail reel *sweatdrop*). Still, I I apologize for the wait.

Not much left to go. 3 skill points and Dragon Shores and then you can't do too much else. Due to lack of commentary on the rollar coaster, I decided to include other topics and rants that I meant to cover, but didn't. I had more, but I had to stop somewhere. If you don't want to hear me yammer in filler, then leave after about 7 minutes (and maybe 2-4 minutes into the next part).

In this video:
-Dragon Shores (8/10 tokens)
-Tunnel, dunk tank, and shooting gallery, part of the rollar coaster
-Rants and stuff

Recorded April 27th, 2010.

PS: And for those that are offended by my comments in the rant (regarding Youtube comments I get on my AMVs), I'm venting frustration (that I've been building up since 2006) and isn't targeting anyone specific. It's mostly repeat offenders, those that want everything handed to them personally, and those that decide to retaliate. Forgive me, but my patience doesn't stretch very far and I bitch out frequently.

And since I just noticed, the Breathless and IWND could cause potential conflict, I'll comment that it's not to dictate what people should/shouldn't watch, but more of personal frustration with people watching old, klunky videos when they could be watching something better (of mine or someone else's. Doesn't matter). I personally think they're shitty (and I could review frame by frame on why), but everyone worships them. Popular =/= good.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [50] [Epic Dogfight Of DOOM...]

The epic battle against Ripto draws to a close. Took 50 parts, but the game is at 100% with all gems and orbs collected, all bosses defeated, and 13 skill points (should've checked the guidebook after the battle. Skill points don't count in the game's %).

It's safe to assume that there won't be many parts left. Dragon Shores and the remaining skill points are all that remain to be covered. The perfect boss skill points (ie not getting hit) aren't particularly interesting with superflame, yet are rather difficult to get without. I do have recordings that I made last year of me taking down Gulp and Ripto without superflame (to get a perspective, my 45 lives went bye bye), but they have no commentary. I'll put in some background music or something. Either vote for using those videos, or to do a live commentary with permanent superflame (no, I won't do live no-superflame).

As for what'll happen after, it's going to be no more LPs. I'm an AMV maker, so I'm a little out of my element. Perhaps a boss run (perhaps sub-bosses too) of Okami or something in the future.

(and for those that don't know about everyone's favourite (former) Insomniac staff member Dan Johnson, I'll put links later. It's pretty funny, but I'm tired right now. If you're not patient, google him yourself)

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [49] [NOT COOL!]

Wow, I'm stupidly loud in this part 0__0. *shrugs* I get into the game too much. I warned you right here.

Yay, it's my birthday today too (well, when it's fully uploaded, it'll be too late. Blame Vegas for being so glitchy with rendering, Youtube for taking forever to upload, and Fraps for making me fix the sync. Still might have some issues). Also, I had to edit out some random mic buzzing and music glitches towards the end.

Well, the time has come to (in Spyro's words) "give Ripto the old hot-foot". This is the final boss battle for the game, and I must say that in the original trilogy, this is the most epic battle ever! Gnasty's was anti-climactic and Miss Sorceress had a really bland final battle (first battle wasn't bad). Sorry, but no skill point in this video, since Ripto isn't cool with the idea of being roasted.

And mwha, bit of a cliffhanger at the end. Other than Spike in Spyro 3 (who is easily the hardest boss in the original trilogy), Ripto is the boss I die the most with. Will I make it, or will I choke and cry like a wuss? Find out what happens next...in a few days.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [48] [IT'S ADVENTURE TIME!]

ALGEBRAIC!
www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRROkTqHL6I

Anyways, this is it. Fracture Hills is finally finished (...twice *growl*) and is the last world to be completed and leaving only 3 skill points (...I hope. I can only think of 3 that I haven't had yet). This video is essentially supercharge failure and Skype deciding to fail somewhere in the middle (which is why Shado went silent and you can see the edge of my Skype window). Next video is going to be the big showdown of Spyro and Ripto in Ripto's Arena. Woo, we're almost done!

Though let's finish on the note that she is the superior AMV maker (because she is).

In this video:
-Supercharge failure
-More Shado failure
-Skype failure (wow, lots of failure)
-Skill point (3 laps of supercharge...eventually)

Recorded March 21, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [47] [Madness At Cianwood Gym]

See, that's why I brought an Alakazam lol. 2 psybeams and it was over. Shado was not pleased (she also wasn't pleased at my capture of an asleep Tauros, in the orange, caught with a single pokeball).
Alright, other than a little bit of lost footage at the beginning (up to 3:29), this video has everything live. Though the first 2 orbs were done in the first part, it's all supercharge from here (as well as some rage from Shado as she's facing Chuck, Cianwood Gym's leader).

In this video:
-Last 3 orbs in the game (escorting the alchemist, headbashing earthshapers, and freeing Krista the faun)
-Supercharge failure
-Last gems in the game (at 6k due to skipping Moneybags in Glimmer. The last 4k will come after beating Ripto)

-Instance of ESPN (bit of an inside thing between our friends)
-Shado raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaage

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [46] [Fuck You Too, Murphy's Law]

Murphy's Law: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Yes, that's exactly what happened. Let's break it down in order of occurance:
-Took weeks for us to even get together for commentary
-Computer downstairs decided to hate Fraps (had to use the less trustworthy Camstudio instead)
-Shado's mic cut out repeatedly (though she replaced it)
-Several stupid fails
-After level completion, Camstudio decided to screw up rendering, forcing us to do it AGAIN
-Shado having frustrations with Heart Gold (not related to the video entirely, but meh)
-Her Audacity randomly cut out
-REPEATING the same fails
-Laaaaaaag
-Skype cutting out
-REPEATING those same, stupid fails
-Best for last, Camstudio decided to kill the first part of the recording, so the first part was LOST...AGAIN!

Yes, all that shit happened. The only things that would've capped off the whole night would be gem failure, death, and 5 videos of supercharge attempts.

Soooo, because of all that, ALL of this video is commentary. I added footage of my fail reel run last year just to show the areas and challenges in the level and to add a visual element. They were not made to be in sync with the video. Sorry, but it was too damn frustrating to do the level a third time, and it was about midnight here too.

In this video:
-Old (not live) gameplay
-Most gems found in Fracture Hills
-Shado raging at Heart Gold

Recorded March 21, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [45] [Two Fails To Rule Them All]

...at least they would if Fraps decided to record more than about 20 seconds of the level x___x. Had to play it again, and sorry, no notable fails this time around. Even though they have to be the most stupidest fails I've EVER done, I still wanted to show everyone (since you sadistic people love to see me fail).

Ok, here's how it happened. When I recorded earlier today, I was somewhere towards the middle/end of the level. I got hit twice by a genie (or once by a genie and again by a sword guy), and hit again by the genie when trying to attack. That got rid of Sparx. I ran to look for a peacock, but slipped off a platform and into the lava ooze of death. Since history has a knack of repeating itself, it happened again in an almost identical way. Since Fraps decided to be stupid, they were not recorded (and it's not like I ran out of space, and I couldn't find any other pieces to the video). These deaths I won't count as official (because they were not recorded), but it makes for a potentially funny story and reason why I'm the Queen of Spyro Fail.

Right, so *cough* Shady Oasis is finished. Short recording because I only needed to get 1 very easy orb (that required 18 spirit particles). There's one more level to complete, and that's Fracture Hills. Shado and I will try to do commentary this weekend, since shit happened a few days ago.

In this video:
-Storytime in the world of Spyro fail...that WASN'T done by Possk (and damn it, BEAT DREK ALREADY!)
-All gems in Shady Oasis
-Last orb (freeing the petrified hippos)

Recorded March 15th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [44] [Nothing To See Here]

Quite literally. Most of this video is mystery bottle failure, gem failure, and me blah-blah-ing.

Eventually, Robotica Farms DOES get finished. You know what that means? Winter Tundra worlds are DONE (other than Ripto's Arena and Dragon Shores if you count those). At the end, it's prep time for the final 2 worlds for Autumn Plains backtracking: Shady Oasis and Fracture Hills. I'll try to grab ShadowSmiffDemon this weekend so we can record with each other. If I can't, then I'll just do a (hopefully) fast 5 minute video for Shady Oasis to grab the last few gems and a very easy orb.

Though one thing that isn't a waste of time in the video is a shoutout to Enardah of Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/user/Enardah). He got his hands on a (fairly rare) copy of Spyro x Sparx Tondemo Tours, which is the Japanese version of the game. It will be his first LP. Like in Spyro 1's Japanese version, there are many changes to the game and isn't just a simple dub. For those that don't remember, they include: minor level design changes, Sparx is always green (even at full health, despite being gold in the cutscenes), signs, and that infamous camera of death.

In this video:
-Gem faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaailure
Yep, that's it.

Recorded March 3rd, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [43] [Cookie Monster On Crack...]

...is exactly what the mutant protopet looks like. Final boss in R&C: Going Commando is Cookie Monster after he had some bad stuff from the guy behind Hooper's (won't say who due to spoilers). Either Cookie Monster or some other derranged, blue muppet.

Did most of Robotica Farms. Went faster through this level than I thought I would (hell, all of the orbs are in this part), but I ran into some *cough* problems in the second half. I talked about some other games (hence the title), since there really isn't much to do in this level.

In this video:
-most gems in Robotica Farms
-all orbs (flaming the bugs, "talisman orb", and clearing the pumpkins)

Recorded March 4th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [42] [I Blame It On The Ponies]

Lag this bad is too evil for sheep. Can only be the work of ponies. Trust me, that story happened to me (minus the shoulder separation, but it was a possibility) and that pony dragged me for a few metres on an icy path. 90% of horses I've met are sane, while 90% of ponies are evil little banshees 0_0. Don't let their cuteness fool you.

Aaaaanyways, pony rants aside, capping off Metropolis here. This is the best part of the game, where it's just you, a super fly/flame power-up, 8 sheep in saucers, things to explode, and a huge arena. Can't get much better than this in this game. Sorry about the lag. No idea what happened there since everything was closed down and nothing unrelated to typical computer functions or recording was on. Like I said, blame the ponies *cough*.

In this video:
-2 orbs (both sheep saucer challenges)
-Pony rant
-All gems in Metropolis
-Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaag

Recorded on February 24th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [41] [Cows...With Guns?]

Oh my GOD! THE SONG WAS RIGHT!

FUCK YEAH METROPOLIS! As I've raved about before, I love this level. Not keen on the ox challenge, but the ending orbs and final room are great (will be seen later). I wanted to finish Okami (collected everything, filled the tomes, and had S rank to unlock Ammy's skins. 63 hours of kick-ass game) and Master's Voice first before I did another part. While I was waiting to record my next part, I played Sly Cooper. As you can imagine (or hear), I absolutely suck at games that only give you 1 HP lol. Matters are worse when you have lives too (R&C, TLOS, and Okami don't have lives. On top of that, it's almost impossible to die in Okami if you maintain a good amount of health items and keep your astral pouch full). It makes you appreciate Sparx and how easy it is to get extra lives.

In this video:
-most gems in Metropolis
-2 orbs (bombing the ox and the "talisman orb")

Note: Up Your Arsenal = best game title ever

Recorded February 25, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Riptos Rage [40] [...Wow]

...that didn't happen. None of you can prove it!
(WARNING: Again, teh squeakness might be hard on ears if set on high volume)

Finishing up Cloud Temples, including a short rant about weird, random, inter-movie slash pairings seen in AMVs, fanfics, etc. The full rant will be coming soon to a channel near you (eventually...meaning we haven't decided or recorded it yet). Lol, I'll be waiting for the whole "Wtf we can do what we want" (called an opinion don'cha know. It's my outlook on the situation and not a personal attack *rolls eyes*) and perhaps "Ur racist/homophobe" (saved for the select few idiots that can't tell the difference between random slash and racism/homosexuality).

In this video:
-All gems in Cloud Temples
-Rant about...what I said above
-Last orb (ringing the bells)
-Yet another instance of pure Raggedstar-brand stupidity

PS: Grr, I always have to keep editing the description because I say Cloud SPIRES instead. I'm also getting bad at using 2009 instead of 2010 and mixing up my Spyro game numbers (said 2 instead of 1. When I usually talk about Spyro 3, I tend to talk about Spyro 2 too since the games are similar [/worthless defending self])

Recorded February 17, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [39] [My Darn Cat]

Lance wanted hugs, but his cruel owner decided to LP instead. To satisfy himself, he decided to meow (I don't think you can hear it, but it's really pathetic-sounding), poke at my leg (with claws out), and loudly chews on objects (including my elbow). Even as I write this description he's doing the same thing, since he likes pressing buttons on the keyboard when in my lap.

Did most of Cloud Temples. I forgot how bad I am when it came to cliffs in this level (WARNING: THE VIDEOS FOR THIS LEVEL CONTAIN HIGH-PITCHED FAIL SQUEAKING).

Anyways, since I'm nearing the end of the game, people have been asking me about future LPs. I talk about that in this level (this video and the next), but in short, my current answer is no. If you want to share your opinions, fine, but that's my current answer.

In this video:
-Most gems in Cloud Temples
-Two orbs (talisman orb and following Agent Zero)

Recorded February 17th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [38] [The Professor Has No Logic]

Couldn't he get a pencil from Walmart or something like a normal person?

Finishing up Mystic Marsh. Not exactly the most interesting or action packed level when the enemies are cleared for the orb challenges (or when the commentator is half asleep. I held back yawns). I'll try to be more interesting in Cloud Temples, which is going to be the next level to cover.

In this video:
-Both orbs (getting the spark plugs and the Professor's pencil)
-All gems in Mystic Marsh (no gem failure for me)

Recorded February 10th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [37] [Attack Of The Snail Creatures!]

Er, did that elephant just kill the rhino thingies?

Wtf? I don't know why, but I had a lot of sound glitches here. The sound was WAAAAY out of sync, so I tried to match it again (hence why you see a fade. Thought it would look less obvious, but I was wrong). With the rest of the video, I just sped it up. Damn frame rates.

And if you couldn't tell, I was very, VERY tired. I started recording before 10 AM.

In this video:
-Most gems in Mystic Marsh
-"Talisman orb" in Mystic Marsh

Recorded February 10th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Riptos Rage [36] [Damn Hoverboard Races]

It was either 1:35:25 or 1:35:10 (maybe both). I'll admit that a good chunk of my playing time on that game was spent trying to get that damn skill point. Can't remember my skill point time, but it was pretty close. Painful race times continue in Canyon Speedway (off the skill point by less than a second).

I won't be doing polls for which levels to do, since there really aren't that many left. There's Canyon Speedway (done), Mystic Marsh, Cloud Temples, Robotica Farms, Metropolis, as well as backtracking Shady Oasis and Fracture Hills (which will be done when I can get together with Shado on Skype to do commentary). Just so few of them, AND I have to backtrack. Ripto will be done at the end after I get 10k gems and 64 orbs.

In this video:
-Finding that elusive gold gem
-Clearing Canyon Speedway
-Skill Point (1:05.53)
-Secret orb challenge (shooting down the targets with Hunter)

PS: For those that don't know, it's not unusual for Okami games to last more than 60 hours (especially if they're going for 100% or haven't played the game before. I'm both, so this should be...interesting). Since I recorded that video, I've played the game for more than 13 hours more.

Recorded February 7th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [35] [No Gem Failure?]

I should really bite my tongue sometimes.

Nothing much in this video really. The homeworld is really small and not a lot going on here, so it was a good oppertunity to try out Fraps (a screen recorder). In short, the whole recording was 18-19 minutes (2 parts, and most Winter Tundra levels should be 2-4 parts depending how much I screw up) and roughly 10 GB. Ran it through Vegas and each part was about 230 MB (roughly the same size as a typical part with the other recorder I used). I experienced a little lag, but not too much. Video quality SEEMS to be better and the aspect ratio might be a little different too. Any opinions? If there is a lot of positive input, I'll keep using it.

In this video:
-Learning headbash (last ability)
-Scoping out the levels
-All orbs in Winter Tundra (in the rock, on the waterfall, and on the castle ledge)
-Gem faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaailure

Recorded February 7th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [34] [Bring It On, Cupcake!]

Gulp apparently doesn't like cupcakes.

Since the recording of Shady Oasis was only 13 or so minutes long, I decided to cut a little off the end and continue on with Gulp so I could make it a pair of 11 minute videos instead of 6 minutes (perhaps it was the sugar cookies that had me hyped up).

In this video:
-One orb (chasing the thieves)
-A rather ungraceful victory against Gulp
-Entering Winter Tundra

NOTE: Yes, I'm aware that there are 2 skill points during this fight, but since I was close to dying a few times, I didn't want to be a sitting duck for Gulp while I aimed at Ripto (and the rockets are horribly inaccurate for such a small target). I'll go back with superflame for the sake of completion. Plus, I did try to get through without getting hit, but that obviously didn't happen (no, I will not commit Spyrocide half a million times until I get it right for these videos).

'Nother Note: The cosmos thing came from a very random convo Shado and I had over AIM. It involved AMVs, Bambi, ESPN, bloodcults, 6teen, and the cosmos. If you're on SFF, you'll know what we mean.

Recorded February 3rd, 2010,

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [33] [You KNOW It's True!]

SHADOWSMIFFDEMON IS THE SUPERIOR AMV MAKER! TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF!
http://www.youtube.com/user/ShadowSmi...
Oh yes, our commentary for Fracture Hills is going to be FUN lol.

Soooo, first visit to Shady Oasis is a quick trip. Almost did the entire level in one video. Should've been recording this earlier, but I was playing Ratchet and Clank (now at 100% with all weapons, gold weapons, gold bolts, and skill points) and Okami (I don't think the game tracks %. Well, I got all of the canine warriors and orbs if that means anything) and spent most of my free time playing those games.

In this video:
-Shado vs Raggs war crap
-Most gems in Shady Oasis
-Shady Oasis talisman

Mmm, sugar cookies for breakfast

Recorded February 3rd, 2010,

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [32] [No Problems Here]

Except for not remembering what time the skill point was (not that it matters, but anyways, it's 1:15), no problems in the speedway for once. No random spazzy noises from me or interuptions from Windows Update here.

Only one more Autumn Plains level to go, and that's Shady Oasis. I don't know if I'm going to zip through it or not like with Fracture Hills, since all that needs to be done there is a really fast orb challenge and a headbash chest in backtracking (not to mention the fact that Shady Oasis is a million times easier. No monster plants, supercharges, or eathshapers there).

In this video:
-Fracture Hills talisman
-All gems in Metro Speedway
-Skill point (1:09.40)
-Orb in Metro Speedway (helping THE Hunter with the cat burglars)

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [31] [CURSE YOU SHADO!]

Between Possk and I playing these games, she takes great pride in causing poor Spyro pain (see Part 1 of Crystal Glacier and Glimmer and Spyro 1 or 2 fail reels). SHADOWSMIFFDEMON MUST BE STOPPED!

No laughing at my lack of math skills. This isn't the first time I've mixed up numbers.

Yes, I'm convinced that Fracture Hills was designed to include everything that could piss the average Spyro gamer off. Here are some points (some not discussed in the video).
-Large enemies that can't be destroyed with Spyro's own power (flame, charge, rock, headbash without Hunter)
-LAVAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
-Music that doesn't sound so fitting (well, I think that at least)
-Deadly plants that usually don't look threatening until they attack *glares at bush/tree/whatever*
-Need to use supercharge for almost everything
-Bodyguard challenge (not bad in games unless you're protecting the unlogical Mr. Alchemist)
-Valley-girl fauns *strangles*
-Often difficult supercharge track that you need to use in 3 instances (skill point, gem chest, orb) (yes, the supercharge is mentioned twice)

The only thing missing here is a cliff, a skate/snowboard, or respawning ninjas.

In this video:
-Me going blahblahblah
-VERY few gems in Fracture Hills

Recorded January 21, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [30] [ISSA KITTY!]

Raggedstar loves her George-kitty as you can see *cough*.
(damn, no George thumbnails? Weak...)

Wow, this level went by really fast. Not counting the parts in the video where I stood around or died, I think I did this level in roughly 14-15 minutes (the entire recording was about 16:30). I know it's easy, but I've never done any level 100% that fast. Oh well.

In this video:
-Both orbs in Crystal Glacier (finding ubercuteGeorge and cleaning out the draclets)
-All gems in Crystal Glacier

Yep, not much to this level. At least it's a nice easy break before I head into Fracture Hills (even though I won't be sticking around for long).

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [29] [The Icebuilders Are CANADIAN]

Honestly, who else would go through all this for the sake of hockey tickets?

Possk can be relieved that me making fun of her will no longer be my featured video on my channels lol.

PS: Gravity is not my friend.

In this video:
-some gems in Crystal Glacier
-Crystal Glacier Talisman
-instance of pure Raggedstar-brand stupidity

Death Count 2:
-1 Skelos Badlands (mystery bottle glitch)
-1 Crystal Glacier (dropped into hidden abyss)

Recorded January 18th, 2010.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [28] [Let's Point And Laugh At Possk]

Just sending another reminder to Possk that you can swim in Spyro 2. I get too much amusement making fun of her lol (but I love my Possk anyways *hugs*).

Ugh, and this is my last day of winter break. Back to horrible college tomorrow.

In this video:
-Breeze Harbor Talisman
-Last orb (trolley challenge)
-All gems in Breeze Harbor
-More Possk failure

Recorded January 8th, 2010,

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [27] [Tired...]

I blame it entirely on Eternal Night.

For those that didn't read the comments, I have a correction to the contest. LittleKitsune DID technically get it right in regards to thinking first death will be in the Skelos Badlands, but ButterflyIllusioned had the better answer since it was the only level she said (LittleKitsune said Skelos Badlands and Magma Cone).

In this video:
-Whining about Eternal Night
-Most gems in Breeze Harbor
-One orb (destroy the mines)

Recorded January 8th, 2010.

PS: I've been asked a few times on my opinions of TLOS series. Seeing as since I got my PS2 (I'm sorry, but there are hardly any PS3 games I'm interested in. My tv doesn't support HD anyways), I've played a few games, including the first 2 TLOS games. I will give more detail when needed, but I more or less summarized my my major gripes with the second game, Eternal Night. A New Beginning was easy while Eternal Night was too hard for it's own good. Being more difficult than ANB isn't a bad thing, but when you consider how awkward the platforming/jumping is, the repetitive/long battles, and poor lighting, the game really dishes a lot of cheap shots. In the grove (before the ice dream. It's somewhat of a "second level"), I timed myself only taking 10 seconds to be killed because of how overpowered the enemies are sometimes (had to burn a fury just to get through). There are good things about the game, but the things I mentioned just suck the fun out most of the time.
I can give more detailed opinions if asked, but I haven't played a lot of Dawn Of The Dragon (only finished the first level). First two are fine.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [26] [My Cat Killed Ratchet]

Ya, he's the reason why the lombax race went poof.

Finally done this nameless level. IT DID NOT HAPPEN!

*cough* So, voting is open for the next levels. There is currently 1 vote for Fracture Hills. Since I will only be spending a minute or two in there, I'll combine it with Metro Speedway.

In this video:
-All gems in level
-Last orb in the level(collecting bones)
-Epic skeleton dance
-Raggs picking mushrooms in her emo corner (brownie to those that get the reference as long as your name isn't Possk or Skerz)

Recorded December 31, 2009

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [25] [Ugh, Just Kill Me Now]

Oh wait, a glitch beat me to it. Yes, my first death is in true Raggedstar fashion: random, stupid, and full of fail.

Although the concept of this glitch isn't NEW, this is the first time it happened to me (figures, now of all times). I know Exploit1080 had similar stuff happen to him in Fracture Hills during his Spyro 2 LP (hitting the satyr in a weird way and falling into the lava during the cutscene). Apparently similar situations happened to others.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82k-HA...
Look at 4:04

I think ButterflyIllusioned said Skelos Badlands. I checked through my videos and I couldn't see any more for this level. If I'm wrong, tell me roughly which video and I'll correct myself next video.

In this video:
-Most gems in Skelos Badlands
-Bone collecting
-Skelos Badlands talisman
-2 skill points (flame the cacti and beating the catbat quartet)
-WTFGLITCHDEATH!

Death Count: 1 (Skelos Badlands. DAMN YOU GLITCH!)

Recorded December 31, 2009

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [24] [Let The Failure Begin!]

And it only gets worse...

In this level:
-Some gems in Skelos Badlands
-2 orbs in Skelos Badlands (both DINOSAUR challenges)

Recorded December 31st, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: RIpto's Rage [23] [BOOM! HEADSHOT!]

Just not as epic without the machine gun *sigh*.

Uploading this sooner than planned because I'm not going to be around for a few days. It wouldn't make sense if I uploaded it when I came back. After that, I will satisfy you poor, demented souls and do the Skelos Badlands 0__0.

Contests are still open. Here is a complete list...I think.
-When is first death?
-How many videos? (should be a good start for guesses seeing as we're halfway through the game)
-How many deaths?
-How many lives remaining? (at the end of all boss battles, skill points, etc)
-How many attempts at the Fracture Hills supercharge to get 100% and skill point? (will be done during backtracking)

I think that's it. Suggestions for other contests are open.

In this video:
-Scorch talisman
-last Scorch orb (getting the flags)
-ALL Scorch gems (well, could've been worse)

Recorded December 23rd, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [22] [First Death...IN SCORCH!?]

No, but that would've been messed up (especially in one of the easiest Autumn Plains challenges).

Halfway there! The game is officially at 50% completion after finishing Magma Cone.
(as a note again, I only use save states to save where I begin just in case of recording problems)

Due to not being online due to holiday stuff, I'll upload the second part tomorrow instead of waiting until I get back. You'll have something to chew on until then.

ALSO, though I forgot to say it, I might create an intro for my Spyro videos. Post your opinion on if I should have one, and if so, which idea. My current ideas are:
-my current AMV intro, "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" by The Beatles (see my main channel)

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [21] [Oh, The Profanity]

I'm a lucky bitch, aren't I? NO DEATH YET! *victory dance*

Shoutout to Mowmowclub2
I wanted to do it in the actual level, but Magma Cone isn't a level where I can concentrate very well.

Note: Skelos Badlands and Scorch had a tie, so I've locked them both at 3rd and 4th with Scorch being first (since the level had the most votes for longer). Why you people like the Skelos Badlands, I don't know lol. Do you guys want to see me roast?

In this video:
-Magma Cone talisman
-Last orb in Magma Cone (party crasher challenge)
-All gems in Magma Cone (that's right, NO MORE GEM FAILURE!)

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [20] [More Raggie Rage]

Earthshapers, lava, and one of the most frustrating challenges in the game. What fun. Time for some VENGEANCE!

In other news...IT'S FREEZING HERE!

In this video:
-Some gems in Magma Cone
-2 orbs in Magma Cone (both crystal popcorn games)
-Raaaaaage!

Recorded December 15th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [19] [Just Not That Observant]

Yes, that's right. It's now 4 worlds in a row with gem failure.

ShadowSmiffDemon's rant on WMG and stuff. She and the rant are made of win, so GO NOW!

In this video:
-All gems in Zephyr
(yes, that's seriously all I accomplished)

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [18] [Dude Looks Like A Lady]

You would think an anime fangirl would be used to this lol.

Ya, I'm talking more than usual in Zephyr. I'm trying to get my mind off of the level as well as rant about WMG. Seriously, it's getting confusing. Feel free to vent or share opinions.

In this video:
-More gems in Zephyr
-All orbs in Zephyr (both Cowlek herding challenges and the R+...J challenge)
-WMG rambling

Recorded December 6th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [17] [WtfTelemarketers!]

5 telemarketers in 10 minutes. Really now, is that necessary?

Zephyr was the winner for the votes, and like I promised, I did it right after Icy Speedway. Voting for #1 is useless, but it will remain open for 2nd (unlikely Magma Cone will be changed), 3rd, etc. People that voted for Zephyr can vote again for a different level if they want.

In this video:
-Some gems in Zephyr
-Telemarketer raaaaaaaaaaaaaaant
(ya, Zephyr is a long level. Can't do too much in 10 minutes)

Recorded December 6th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [16] [Uhh...]

I blame my crappy memory in this video on the mindrapeness of Japanese Spyro 1's camera.

EDIT: VOTING IS LOCKED FOR #1. VOTING FOR THE REMAINING ORDER IS STILL OPEN.

In this video:
-Skill point (time: 1:08.15)
-Got orb in Icy Speedway (parasailing with Hunter)
-SHAMELESS ADVERTISING FOR EXPLOIT1080 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMJRv7... )
-All gems and orbs in Autumn Plains (long glide and behind the wall)
-An example of my lousy memory skills

Recorded November 15th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [15] [RAGE AGAINST MY MACHINE!!!]

MICROSOFT OWES ME A SKILL POINT! RAWR!

Sorry for the lag throughout the video (mostly at the end). Blame windows update x___x.

EDIT: VOTING HAS CLOSED FOR #1. VOTING FOR THE REST OF THE ORDER IS STILL OPEN.

In this video:
-Most gems in Autumn Plains
-All gems in Icy Speedway
-Hell of a lot of lag and computer-related rage

Recorded November 25, 2009.
