Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [14] [I'M PISSED OFF! OUT OF MY WAY!]

If the Darwin Awards were in Avalar, these turtles would win it for sure.

Pop Quiz: What's worse than ONE gem hunt in a video?

Meh, same audio issues here. I might turn down my mic since it's annoying when I get loud and get that beat noise. I get very loud when I play video games sometimes lol.

In this video:
-ALL gems in Summer Forest (at long last)
-Backtrack to Sunny Beach
-More gasket-blowing
-Get two orbs (both parts of the suicidal turtle challenge)
-ALL gems in Sunny Beach (x___x)

Recorded November 15, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [13] [BRING IT ON, SHORTY!]

One down, two to go!

UPLOAD ATTEMPT #3! Of course part 13 gives me the most trouble. Ugh, I'm really having problems finding a good quality and volume *technology's bitch*.

NOTE: You're next, Audacity! Sooo, I did some testing. It seems like nothing is wrong with my recorder (still might get Fraps anyways. Might get it this weekend). What was causing cutscenes to be out of sync was AUDACITY (I saw that first cutscene about 8 times *sigh*). To solve the problem, I paused Audacity and things seemed to be ok. I turned it on about halfway though the first cutscene, but it caused more lag. To correct it, I edited the clip so it can match better (woo, knowing how to AMV has it's advantages OUTSIDE of AMVs). It's not perfect, but better than before. No real problems during the second and third cutscene.

In this video:
-Cutscene
-Defeating Crush
-Skill Point (defeating Crush without getting hit)
-Cutscene
-Entering Autumn Plains
-Learning how to climb
-Backtracking to Summer Forest
-Get orb (at the top of the ladder)
-More gem failure x____x

Recorded November 15, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [12] [The Futile Seaweed Hunt]

...who's idea was it to make this a skill point? *facepalm*

I fastforwarded some bits because the seaweed hunt is rather boring (and I was a few minutes over). I didn't talk a lot during that anyways.

In this video:
-Rest of the orbs (second manta ride and saving the baby seahorses)
-Rest of the gems
-Skill Point (destroy the seaweed, after several minutes of fail)

Recorded November 14th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [11] [Damn I Love Spyro Music]

The music and level design are what keep me sane when playing this level...

Aaaaaaaanyways, what's your favourite music in any Spyro games? My favs include Fireworks Factory (ya, who doesn't?), Aquaria Towers, Magma Cone, Dark Passage, Ripto's Arena, Buzz's Dungeon, and Jacques.

NOTE: I've played with the quality of my recorder. Give me input please. I've tested it on cutscenes (in my 100% file where I can look at them) and things seemed ok.

In this video:
-Collecting a few gems in Summer Forest *glares at Runningstar, who finally decided to show himself*
-Get Aquaria Towers talisman
-Get most gems
-Get orb (first manta ride)

Recorded November 14th, 2009.

Raggs Plays Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage [10] [Gasket-Blowing In 3...2...1...]

About 8 times I've played this game in less than a year, and I STILL have problems with the windmills.

In this video:
-Hurricos talisman
-random noises galore due to windmill related failing
-rest of the orbs in Hurricos (both windmill challenges)
-rest of the gems in Hurricos
-10 year aniversary for the NTSC (Nov 2nd) and PAL (Nov 5th) games
-an incredibly stupid slip of the tongue that I blame for playing this at midnight

Recorded November 5th, 2009
