Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 37 & Episode 38 - Last Episode (Plus Gaming in 1998 & Gexup's Top Dozen Favorite Games of All Time)

Everybody, this is the last episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast due to Gexup's departure from the internet and getting back to his personal life. These are very sad and long episodes where Gexup is doing everything for the very last time; from Mailbag, Video Game Releases of the Month, Gaming in the 90's - 1998, and Gexup's Top Dozen Favorite Games of All Time within just two brand new episodes of Boochow!

_______________________________________________________________

This is the first day of recording the last episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast. We are joined by Amuia, Hannu, TMcBee, Cendoo, Zookstar1000, & Darabka all making their last appearance on Boochow. Our video game releases of the Month we're going through the releases of August & September of 2013. Enjoy the first day of recording of Boochow and stay tuned to our next episode where we discuss Gaming in 1998 and Gexup's Top Dozen Video Games of all Time!

Mailbag Segment

This is part 1 of the first day of recording the show, and for the last time we read your mail in the mailbag segment. We nearly did 3 hours of recording just to read everyone's mail (sent to us) and we give so much detail on each of the questions given to us. This mailbag is being read by Hannu.

Video Game Releases
(August & September 2013)

In this part of Boochow, we go over the very last Video Game Releases of the Month for August and September 2013. Enjoy our last announcements in video games ever!

____________________________________________________________________

This is the second day of recording and we are doing an episode of the best year in gaming; 1998. And then Gexup's Top 12 Favorite Games of All Time. We are joined by TMcBee, Cendoo, Zookstar1000, Hannu, Darabka, Retrokaiser, Raggedstar, and Shintai (making his debut on the show) just being in the finest moment of itstailtime.net.

Gaming in the 90's - 1998
(Greatest Year in Gaming!)

Since Gaming in the 90's is incomplete without making it to the year 1998, Gexup and friends will finally take this chance by talking about 1998. We'll be going over games released for the Gameboy Color, Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, Playstation, PC in that year. But before we discuss about these historic games, we also discuss about our lives back in this year. See why is 1998 will always be the best year in video games!

Gexup's Top Dozen Favorite Games of All Time

This is the finest moment in Gexup's history; Gexup's twelve favorite games of all time!  This is a huge build up to everything Gexup has done and it's the perfect time to finally announce his favorites. Firstly, he'll go over the honorable mentions that didn't make it on his Top Twelve and finally he'll announce his favorite games ever! Come and see what they are if you're a true Gexup fan and be prepared to see what made it on his list!

We thank you all for tuning into Boochow throughout all of these years and I'm sorry that this came to a close, but it has to end. I just want everyone to know that we haven't forgotten about all the feedback sent by you guys and the kind words towards my leave. It's been really hard for me to give up this project, but I really am in the need to take my life serious now as I'm getting closer to fulfilling my dreams. Thank you all so much for your support and contacts because they were all meaningful and not taken for granted. Please keep in touch with itstailtime.net and keep supporting all of the members of this site as they will continue their projects here for this site! I may comeback someday, you'll just never know...

Like every E3 Episode Special, Amuia goes over the list of video game companies (in alphabetical order) that have games shown in this expo as the rest of us give off our opinions on each of these games. We go through companies of Activition, Atlus, Bethesda, Capcom, CD Projekt RED, Deep Silver, Disney, Electronic Arts, Konami, Microsoft, Namco Bandai, Natsume, Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Square Enix, Techno Koei, Ubisoft, and Warner Bros.

This has been a very long episode and we're not trying to ever be longer than the last episode. Sorry that we have to skip the mailbag segment for this episode but we'll do it next time. Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 35 - Pokémon Extravaganza

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 35

Download MP3 Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 35 - Pokémon Extravaganza

After a long hiatus on coming back to Japan, Gexup and Amuia has brought Highwings & Raggedstar to talk about the Pokémon franchise from generation 1 through 3. But before they do that, they'll make sure to mention many of the news that has happened since their absence of the show... cough... cough... Xbox One... After that, they begin talking for hours about the nostalgia that they had with the series as children, talk about the original Gameboy games on Red, Blue, and Yellow, talk about the merchandises they collected when they were kids, the anime show, Gameboy games with Silver, Gold, and Crystal, The Pokémon movies from 1 - 3, and finally discuss about Pokémon ruby. This has been an episode that Gexup has always wanted to make and now finally got a chance. So please, be prepared to hear gexup praise and criticize Pokémon and hear some of the best jokes that Highwings has offered in this episode. This is up to date the longest episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast ever and it's because there's so much to talk about Pokémon and since all four of these people grew up with the franchise, be prepared to hear in long detail about this franchise phenomenon!

Mailbag Audio

Download MP3

This is the first time that the podcast went too long so that we have to divide this episode into two parts because this is the audio where we read and answered you mail in our mailbag segment. This will only happen once because the length of this show was so long filled with nostalgia. Everybody was tired towards the end of the show so we had to answer your questions on a different recording on the following day. So, this was the first time that we had to do an episode in two days. We managed to get Gexup, Amuia, Raggedstar, and Highwings back, but we also managed to get a new special guest to read your questions on the show. This shows how much we love and care about Boochow and our listeners of the show. Since it has been a long time since we've had a new episode we minus well should have an episode for this long for you guys!

Highwings's Blooper
One more thing, we got Highwing's funniest moment in a separate file as a blooper so enjoy this funny clip!

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 34 - Next Consoles/Razzies 2012

In This episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast we are joined by Slayermaster009, Retrokaiser, and Highwings89. Together we go through the news and video games releases of the month. Sorry, but we had to skip Games we're now playing because we have so much to cover since the last episode of this podcast.

Today's "Video Game Topic of the Day" is "Next Generation of Consoles." Since the Wii U is out and PS4, Xbox 720, and Steambox is on its way, we take a close look at what was said about the console (as of March 2013) and give a serious critique on these new upcoming consoles. We have had a lot of gripes with the PS3, Wii, and Xbox 360 that we have to examine Sony's, Nintendo, and Microsoft's flaws and give suggestions/recommendations of what they should avoid that they're now facing in this current generation of gaming. There is 100% no fanboy-ism in this subject, we go balls out on our frustrations with these companies and hope they won't face the same mistakes again as they enter the new consoles.

Then afterwords, we continue our once a year tradition of going through the Razzies in the "Drop The Controls." On Drop the Controls, we go through the Golden Raspberry Awards 2012 seeing what has been rewarded as the worst movies that came out in 2012 and make fun of it. Then finally, we go through the mailbag segment and answer your questions. This is a message to our audience out there that if you want to give a question, please read the rules in the forum because you send it to us because we had a few people that broke the rules. If this happens again, we won't answer your question on the next episode.

Hope you enjoyed this episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast.

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 32 - 3rd "Late" - Anniversary Special/10th Anniversary Ratchet & Clank Series

download mp3 Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 32 - 3rd "Late" -  Anniversary Special/10th Anniversary Ratchet & Clank Series                             comment here                                   ask mailbag questions here

Welcome, everyone to finally the celebration of the 3rd Anniversary of the Boochow Radio Podcast! We’re celebrating the Boochow Radio Podcast late this year because Gexup and Amuia have been so busy that Thanksgiving was their only chance to do it. The original date that Boochow started was October 31, 2009 so that makes it 3 years of doing this podcast show. We thank everyone for listening and supporting the show after all of these years and in return we also celebrate the 10th Anniversary of our favorite video game series, Ratchet & Clank. In this episode we are joined by Highwings89 (briefly), Cendoo, Zookstar1000, and Phoenix08 and together we all take a look at the news regarding to video games and then the video game releases of the month (from November 20th – December 31st, 2012).

This episode’s video game topic of the day, it is the 10th Anniversary of the Ratchet and Clank series and in celebration of the series we overview the series from the very first game, Ratchet & Clank, to Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time. We are only focusing on the main games, [not the spin-offs]. As much as we love the spin-offs we believe it’s most important that we just discuss about the main games or it will take us all night to finish recording. Even if you’re not a fan of series, please listen to this episode and hear how much the series means to us and how we feel about each installment of the Ratchet and Clank games. This episode means a lot to us in celebrating 10 years of the Ratchet and Clank series.

Towards the end of the episode, in the “Drop the Controls” Segment, Gexup will go over the upcoming “Boochow 2012 Awards” on the next episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast in December 2012. He will go over the category of awards right in this award show that the Boochow Radio Podcast does every year. Also beyond the look out for another award show on the next episode of the Legit Animation Podcast called the “Legit 2012 Animation Awards” that is as well coming in December 2012. Luckily since we dropped the “Games We’re Now Playing” Segment, we had time to go over answering your questions in the “Mailbag” segment. We all hope you had a good Thanksgiving break, thanks you all SO much for keeping the show to last over 3 years.

"In this episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast, we are joined by Hannu “The Hande” Makenin and debuting on the show, Phoenix 8! This is a regular episode where we go through the same routine of going through the ‘news’ (and these are very big news for the site), ‘Video Games We’re Now Playing,’ & the ‘Video Game Releases of the Month!’

This episode’s ‘Video Game Topic of the Day,’ we all discuss about Video Game Movies, or Movies based on a Video Game. Video game-movies have been panned and judged as terrible ideas but we all analyze and discuss about the pros and cons about video game adaptations. We look at the directors who made these films (including Uwe Boll), how many of these movies are presented, and what improvements do video game movies need in order to convince people that video game movies can be actually good. Gexup and Hannu both have made their own Top 10 Video Game-Movies so if you haven’t seen it please check them out!

And finally we close this episode with the ‘Mail-Bag Segment’ where we all read and answer your mails. Hope you enjoy this episode and be sure to check out our special guests work on our site!

In this classic episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast, we unfortunately don't have a special guest, but Amuia and Gexup willing to pull of an episode together. They go through the news, Games They're Playing, and Video Game Releases of the Month.

On this episodes' Video Game Topic of The Day, Gexup and Amuia rants about Sports Games and they both debate whether or not they serve no purpose to gaming except for just simulating actual sport. If you really want to know why Gexup disposes sports games, you should see this episode on why he still hates the genre.

And in our Drop the Controls segment, Gexup and Amuia discusses about pre-E3 2010 and make predictions on these upcoming games in this expo.

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 11 - Text Box vs. Voice Acting

In this classic episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast, our special guest of the podcast is AnAsianKid1 coming back to the show from Episode 8. In this episode we go through the Games We're Now Playing & Video Game Releases of the Month.

On this episode's Video Game Topic of the Day, all three of the friends discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of having voice acting in video games and debate why most dialog and storylines are most preferred told on Text Box.
And in our Drop the Controls Segment, Gexup and AnAsianKid1 rants about YouTube's layout, changes, policy, and flaws. This was a YouTube layout change that happened in April 2010. It's not as bad as it is now, but it was something that made Gexup so mad that he ranted in a whole segment.

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 10 - Are Sequels Making Originals Boring?

In this classic episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast, Retroman, or now known as Retrokaiser, has made his very first debut on the show. This is the episode that changed the whole podcast show. We decided to change the theme song to "Cherub Rock" by Smashing Pumpkins, we've had a different special guest star besides Highwings89 and AnAsianKid1, and this was the FIRST episode where we finally did "Video game releases of the month" beginning from March 19th, 2010 all the way to the end of March 2010.

On this episode's Video Game Topic of the Day we debate whether or not Sequels are making originals boring. Good sequels are no stranger to video games, but since we've had so many good sequels are they making the original outdated? It's obvious that sequels had better graphics, controls, and fixed many of the problems over the original. But does that diminish our love with previous games before we've played the latest installment of the series that overshadows the ones before it?

On our Drop the Controls segment, we go over the Golden Raspberry Awards 2010 where we go through the worst movies of 2009. But get this! There's a second award from the Golden Raspberry Awards 2010 and that is the Worst Movies of the Decade 2000 - 2009 to celebrate their 30th Annual Golden Raspberry Awards. You have to see our opinions on these bad films.

Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 8 - Future In Gaming

genaric

Download MP3 Boochow Radio Podcast - Episode 8 - Future In Gaming

On this classic episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast, Gexup and Amuia were out of ideas for topics that we decided to just make random stuff of what the future of video games will be like. This probably one of the most random episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast because we all over the place making predictions and going over the top with the topics. And just when thing got from random to immature, Gexup had a door bell right at his house and invited the person who ranged to join the show 51:10 He's an old member of the show, AnAsianKid1 making his debut on the show. Up to there, we got so hyper that we got all sorts of ideas that we pulled out of our asses just to have a lot of fun and BOY looking back at this episode I wondered what we were smoking, even though we never took drugs XD

This is a VERY old episode of the Boochow Radio Podcast where this episode was posted way back in 2009. Gexup and Amuia are together going through the games they're now playing, the games we're looking forward to (which is BEFORE the show came up with VG Releases of the Month), and then our video game topic of the day, Amuia and Gexup are debating and over-analyzing the whole concept of remakes of video games, and games being re-released and both of them are trying to decide which one is a better way to go to release a classic game.

In the drop the controls segment, and both of them are talking about their vacation in Christmas 2009 and talk about their memories there. After that, we go through the mail-bag, reading your mail. This was a very old episode but our fans on www.itstailtime.net wants the old episode of Boochow and we're accomplishing that by giving them these classic episodes and post them online
