Gexup's 12 Days of Christmas - Top 1 Gexup's Wish
Before you read this blog, I strongly recommend reading yesterday's blog on my Top 2 Favorite Years Ever! It really reflect on who I am as a person, not just a meme who a lot of people just want to hear his opinion. So here we are! On the 12th day of Gexup's Christmas and the final present from me to you guys! It sure as hell a fun time writing these blogs as you got a chance to know me more than ever before! I bet you all want more of it and that's alright I wish there were more of Christmas than 12 Days. And when it comes to wishes, it's a psychological need of owning something or having something to actually happen. Now I will admit that I can sometimes be the greediest person ever.
When I love something with a great passion, I just want nothing else but more of it. It's just like movies, everyone bitches if a movie is too long, but I say a 2-3 hour movie is too short because the film is rushing to make it to the end, there's not enough screen time for all the characters, and the experience is a bit slim despite how well made the film actually is. Of course you can't finish a 4-5 hour movie, so why not just stop, take a break, and watch more of it from where you last left off later? You can't finish many video games, books, and an entire tv series in a single day, you have to stop and return to it later so why do we have to have a need to finish movies so quickly? See what I mean by me asking for more than what I got? I'm a really greedy individual. And like every gamer, I can never be 100% satisfied because there's at least a video game series where it didn't have enough sequels while others just have more than enough to hog up the spotlight. That's why I've made videos like "Jak 4 Must be Made," "Gex 4 Must Be Made," continuously hope that Oddworld would make another installment, and SO many more! I know that I shouldn't be greedy because I'm in a comic book school and I'm engaged, but the thing I ask for the most is just happiness. So if there was a chance to make only one wish to come true, [just one], this is the only thing that I want so badly than anything else (except for getting a wonderful career, keep loved ones alive, and get married).

Gexup's 12 Days of Christmas - Top 2 Years of My Life
Sometimes when life gets so stressful, difficult, and unfair you want to just remember the old days. Though our memory is always foggy, the most important thing is that it not only stays with you in your mind but also in your heart as well. I'm a type a guy that loves to reminisce about the past and move on in hopes that in the future your days would be as special as the days you remember. Memory is perhaps the most important thing for you because you have to remember how to walk, how to do things, who's the members of your family, your friends, what you did yesterday, where you placed your stuff, where you supposed to be at, and many more! As quoted to one of my favorite songs from Dismemberment Plan "The only thing worse than bad memories, is no memories at all" and if there was one thing I wish I can do is to remember almost everything, even some of my regrets. But the one thing most people always tell me what I'm good at is my memory because when I tell someone remember the time, they forgot about it whether their memory jogs in or its forever forgotten. Surprisingly enough I can remember our apartment address in our first home in Korea, the names of all of my elementary school teachers, my first kiss, the places that I first met my closest friends, so many of them I still will never trade any of them for the world. Nobody will ever care for all of your memories except you and you must do what you can to keep remembering them. And that's why I play a ton of retro games, watch old movies/cartoons, read really old comic books/strips, keep old objects, and eat the same foods that taste the same all those years ago to keep reminding myself of the people that I used to play and thoughts I had when I played each game. Think of it, every single game I've played I have memories to cherish, even the bad games like Hey You! Pikachu! I've been gaming my entire life. There was never a time that I could remember that I never played a video game (except for Mass Effect 3), but when I want to remember a particular event in my life and I don't have the pictures or video recording that my folks kept, I usually go to a particular level/area of a game and remind myself on what I was thinking at that very spot. It's wondrous on how the human brain works!
But whenever I have a copy of a game, DVD/Blue Ray, and other things, I always look at the back of the label and see what year it was released/made. I don't know why, but I always want to know what year did I miss out on these things when they were released or what time did this remind me of when I first saw it. I always like to keep in track of all the years that has passed in my life like a record book. And today's list I'm counting down the two of the best years of my life from 1990 to 2014. Now, as for the past couple of years, it has been really difficult for not only horrible experiences with games but also current events like the Tsunami and Earthquakes in 3/11/11, the health problem that I've had in 2013 that send me to the hospital, and other personal matters in my life. Hell, even though I cherish almost everything from the 90's, I also had a lot of bad memories and experiences as well. So what I'm getting at is that even though I have selected two of the best year of my life that doesn't mean that I didn't have a bad day. I don't believe in a perfect year, but when there are more good days than bad, then it should say that you had a good year. So here is probably my most personal blog that I've ever posted on the internet! So feel honored to see Gexup in a different light from these two years of my life.

Gexup's 12 Days of Christmas - Top 3 of Gexup's Gaming Accomplishments
Sometimes, there's always a game where your friends and other people can't do, but when you finally gave it a shot and accomplished it, you screamed on the top of your voice…
I notice a lot of people like to brag about what they've done in gaming because this is an interactive media where we play so much that we want competition to our gaming skills. Surprisingly enough I only have 3 gaming accomplishments that I will always cherish. When I look at accomplishments, I look at it like nobody has ever done it before and still keep the memories of doing it! So that means an accomplishment is NOT about beating a game (almost everyone has beaten a game), not about getting a stupid achievement or trophy from PS3 or Xbox 360, and I'm not talking about finishing a game with the highest difficulty. I am, of course just talking about some accomplishments that I've made and haven't seen anyone that did the same. So check this list out!
